2009

After establishing a successful safari company in 2007—Shrike Safaris... 
The founder and CEO at that time, Mr. Mark Madola came up with the idea of establishing a car hire company with budget cars. We started with two used cars that were kept in the founder’s garage.

2012

The first expansion of SHRIKE CAR HIRE took place. Customers were interested in hiring vehicles, so we started to buy used cars in good condition and expanded the fleet to 7 cars.

2017

We opened new rental segments - business class and SUVs. We bought 10 new cars for each segment. Landcruiser GX V8, Ford Mustang GT, Landcruiser VX V8, Alphard, Prado series, and BMW 7-series joined our fleet.

2024

We completely reoriented to premium car rental. A segment of sports cars was added, we bought 4 sports cars including Ferrari 430 Italia and Aston Martin Valkyrie.
